Behold the cast of Dibbs’ new commercial, aptly titled Masked Men.

Also starring an uncredited attendant named Ahmed who was nice enough to take a long enough #2 in the bathroom to let me sneak him into a re-take of the opening shot.

The shoot took place entirely on location at an Arco AM/PM station in Reno, NV.

Thanks to the station owner Al for letting us shoot there – I didn’t tell him in advance about the ski masks.

They're a colorful bunch.

Due to licensing restrictions, this film has been unavailable for viewing for the last six months… until now.

Ania is a funny, talented Polish hairstylist who drives a Honda S2000 with a manual transmission.
Savannah is a hopelessly helpless model with dry, lifeless hair.
This film documents Savannah’s transformation with some help from Ania.

I had the (dis)pleasure of shooting quite possibly the worst model of all time only a couple of months ago, and though I’m not lawfully able to provide photographic evidence of this event, I did manage to document the shooting process. Here is a sneak peek.

The inventor of the “beach hair” look (his words, not mine) has designed some hair products that I’m featuring in a new video starring 29 year-old senior stylist and Poland-native Ania Pawlowska.

This time we took a different approach. No pre-set locations, interviews, or even a vague outline of what we would find, shoot, or break. Episode 3 finds Natalie in Junkee, one of Reno’s most colorful local retailers.

Nearing completion is episode 2 of Northern Nevada Explorer starring Natalie Jones.

This episode takes a look at some colorful Basque business leaders in northern Nevada, featuring the nationally recognized Louis’ Basque Corner restaurant and also another high-profile special guest.

Wisted has been selected to produce the first three episodes of Northern Nevada Explorer, a new show starring the charismatic Natalie Jones of Reno, NV. The show aims to mix the kind of high production values typically seen on the Travel Channel with the no-nonsense and always endearing personality of Ms. Jones, whether she’s delving deep into Reno’s oldest dive bars or espousing the infinite charm of Winemucca, a hidden potato mecca. Also worth mentioning is the musical contributions by Natalie’s husband Tobin Jones, an accomplished composer and musician.
